Muddy Memories

Several members of Hollins University's Class of 1966 planned to sail down memory lane this month at a reunion in Virginia commemorating the 40th anniversary of a legendary raft trip down the Mississippi River.

"It was one of those trips that was meant to happen," says Patricia Neild Moulton, the trip's organizer, who recalls how a "college bull session" about Huck Finn led to an 11-day journey down the Big Muddy.
