Mount Holyoke and Alumnae Group End Dispute Over Annual Fund
A lengthy, often heated disagreement between Mount Holyoke College and its alumnae association was amicably resolved last month when the two parties signed a 10-year agreement.
The agreement grants the college control over the money raised in the annual campaign fund -- which consists of donations from alumnae, parents, and friends of the college -- but the college pledges to provide annual financing, based on the size of its endowment, for the alumnae group.
