Most High Schools Have Dual-Credit, Dual-Enrollment Programs Offering College-Level Courses, Reports Say
Two reports released in April by the National Center for Education Statistics show the availability of college-level courses to students at public high schools.
One report, "Dual Credit and Exam-Based Courses in U.S. Public High Schools: 2002-03," provides estimates of the number and locations of schools offering dual-credit or examination-based courses like Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate, the enrollment in those courses, and their characteristics.
