Morris Brown College Fires 13 Professors

The new president of Morris Brown College fired 13 untenured faculty members this month as part of a reorganization plan.

A month ago, Dolores E. Cross, the president, notified about a third of the Atlanta college's 98 full-time faculty members that they had been identified by a campus panel as candidates to be fired, asked to retire, or put on probation, and that she would decide their fate by April 1. After
