More Money, More Results

Jeffrey Brainard's article "What the NIH Bought With Double the Money" (February 6) works hard to convey the impression that the doubling of the National Institutes of Health's budget did not accomplish what Congress or the research community intended, in terms either of increased scientific understanding or the advancement of public health.
