More Money, Less Money
The National Endowments for the Arts and for the Humanities will each receive $5-million increases in the 2006 fiscal year under an agreement on a budget bill reached last week by conferees from the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate.
However, that increase will shrink slightly under a half-percent across-the-board cut that will be applied to all programs financed by the bill.
