More Lawyers in Japan's Future; U.S. State Department Sets Up Institute on Afghanistan

Seventy-four Japanese universities are hoping to open law schools, according to a survey by the Japanese news agency, Kyodo News.

The schools would be established under legislation encouraging the creation of a new generation of American-style graduate-level law schools.
