More Europeans at British Universities
The latest admissions figures to British universities show a sharp increase in the number of students from some of the European Union's newest member states.
The union expanded from 15 to 25 nations in May 2004. Students from its member states pay the same tuition at British universities as domestic students do, while overseas students from outside the E.U. are charged a higher fee.
