More Colleges Move to Offer  Online Library Materials to Alumni
The University of Minnesota has started offering an alumni benefit that the university hopes will entice bookworms, not just Gopher basketball fans, to give back to their alma mater: Starting last month, dues-paying alumni got access to electronic library databases — thousands of journals and magazines that normally only students get to peruse.
