More Colleges Are Adding Family-Friendly Benefits
Paid maternity leaves and stopping the tenure clock top the list, a survey finds
When an assistant professor at Princeton University becomes a new parent, the dean of the faculty sends a letter automatically granting the professor a one-year extension of the tenure clock. Tucked in with the letter is a children's book called Close Your Eyes.
