Moody's Upgrades Credit Outlook for Higher-Education Sector
Colleges and universities, both public and private, can look forward to stable credit ratings this year, according to a report released last week by Moody's Investors Service.
In changing its outlook for the higher-education sector to "stable" from last year's "cautiously stable," the credit-rating agency cites increasing student demand for higher education, improved performance of investments, and economic conditions that are generally "rosier" than those of recent years.
