Montclair State U. to Drop 5 Sports
Montclair State University has announced that it will drop three men's and two women's teams in August. The university, in Montclair, N.J., will still have 16 teams competing in Division III of the National Collegiate Athletic Association.
The men's lacrosse, wrestling, and cross-country teams, along with the women's tennis and cross-country teams, will be demoted from varsity to club status as a result of the January decision, meaning that they will have no coaches or university
