Montana Supreme Court Rejects Faculty Lawsuit
The Montana Supreme Court has rejected a lawsuit against the Montana State University College of Technology at Great Falls, ruling that two former instructors should have used their union's grievance process before filing suit.
This month's 4-to-3 decision overturned a previous ruling in favor of Constance MacKay and Elissa Orcutt, who were members of the college's nursing faculty. Their lawsuit stemmed from a conflict with a former student who, in 1997, had twice failed a class taught
