Missouri Valley Conference Teams Put on a Full-Court Press to Market Women's Sports
Although more female athletes than ever are participating in college sports — and many women's programs are bringing in record revenue — few colleges spend much money marketing their women's teams.
That fact bothers many top athletics officials, who believe that women's sports could attract more fans, provide more opportunities for female athletes, and earn more revenue for institutions.
