Missouri State U. Settles Gender Claim
Missouri State University has settled a federal gender-discrimination lawsuit filed in April by four former women's tennis players.
Under the terms of the agreement, the players — Maja Stanojevic, Paty Manzur, Nora Kuruc, and Monika Musilova — will receive $1,000 each, and the university will ensure that its athletics program continues to comply with federal gender-equity law.
