'Misguided Priorities' at Cal State
To the Editor:
Faculty members who teach in the California State University System should be shocked by revelations in a recent state audit of the system's new Common Management System, which would run on software from PeopleSoft Inc. ("Auditors Blast Management of Cal State's Computing Project," March 28). The audit reports poor planning, outrageous cost overruns, unclear objectives, absurdly bad oversight, and possible scandal involving senior Cal State administrators.
