Minority Students at the U. of California
To the Editor:
Of course the number of minority students attending the University of California has increased in the last five years ("U. of California Admits More Minority Students," April 19). In a study titled "Resegregation in American Schools," the Civil Rights Project at Harvard University found the percentage of black students in the majority-white K-12 schools declined to the levels of the 1960s by the 1996-97 school year.
