Minority Students Sue Berkeley, Charging Bias in Admissions
Eight minority college students and three minority organizations filed a class-action lawsuit last week against the University of California at Berkeley, charging that it violates a federal anti-bias law by emphasizing standardized-test scores and successful completion of Advanced Placement courses in its admissions decisions.
