Minority Students' Stats
More minority students attend college than in the past, but their academic performance still lags behind that of their white classmates. That was the gist of a report released this month by the U.S. Department of Education called "Status and Trends in the Education of Racial and Ethnic Minorities."
All groups included in the study showed increases in their rates of completing high school and earning a college degree. But although more Hispanic students than black students were enrolled
