Minority Enrollment Continues to Rise, Report Says
The number of minority students attending and completing college has continued to rise, according to a report released by the American Council on Education.
Minority enrollment rose by 3.3 percent between 1998 and 1999, the latest year for which data are available. That is up slightly from the previous year, when minority enrollment rose by 3.2 percent.
All racial groups reported increases in enrollment, including white students, whose enrollment was up 0.8 percent. That
