Minnesota University Settles Sex-Bias Lawsuit
The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System tentatively agreed last month to pay at least $830,000 to settle a class action brought by female faculty members at St. Cloud State University who alleged that they had been paid less and overlooked for promotions because of their sex.
A U.S. District Court judge, Donovan Frank, endorsed the settlement, under which the university agreed to provide a total of $600,000 in back pay to about 250 women who were
