Military Concern for the Environment
To the Editor:
In "A New Breed of Environmental Film" (The Chronicle Review, April 25), Randy Malamud offered opinions on the military and war's impact on the environment. While he has admittedly screened many films, and has "learned a great deal" at the Environmental Film Festival in the Nation's Capital, he left his readers with a rather one-sided view of the military's interest in environmental preservation. His comments on "military aggression" and "environmental bombardment"
