Microsoft Relents on Software-Licensing Terms That Colleges Criticized
Responding to criticism from college administrators, the Microsoft Corporation has announced alternatives to three unpopular features of its Campus Agreement licensing program. The new options, which were to take effect on July 1, should help colleges do a better job of forecasting their licensing costs and managing server licenses.
