Microsoft Fixes Problems in Windows XP but Creates Others for Colleges
Colleges found themselves scrambling last month after Microsoft Corporation issued a major upgrade to its popular Windows XP operating system. College officials complained about the company's procedures for distributing the software and said the patch could inadvertently cause problems with campus networks.
