Michigan State Punished for Coaching Violations

The National Collegiate Athletic Association last month extended Michigan State University's probation for two years and took away one of its scholarships, for violations committed by the university's wrestling and women's track coaches. Michigan State has been on probation since 1996 for unrelated violations by coaches of its football team.
