Miami U. of Ohio Weighs Equal Tuition for State Residents and Outsiders Alike

Miami University of Ohio wants to break a longstanding tradition that continues in most states: different tuition rates for residents and out-of-state students.

Later this month, the university's Board of Trustees will consider a plan that would charge Ohio residents the higher tuition that out-of-state students now pay, beginning in the fall of 2004.
