Mexico to Build Memorial to Students Slain in '68 Massacre
Nearly four decades after Mexican officials ordered the massacre of as many as 300 student protesters and then sought to cover up the decision, the victims are finally assured a place in history.
Government and academic officials have announced the creation of the first official memorial to one of the bloodiest events in modern Mexican history. The monument will be housed in a building overlooking Tlaltelolco Square, in Mexico City, where soldiers opened fire on a crowd of students,
