Metropolitan Museum of Art Makes Works Available Through ARTstor; New Book Series Will Focus on Literary Conversations Abroad
IMAGE IS EVERYTHING: The Metropolitan Museum of Art has unveiled a long-awaited project that will make high-resolution digital images of works in its collections available to scholars.
The new Images for Academic Publishing service, available through the nonprofit image clearinghouse ARTstor, will initially make available almost 1,700 images from the Metropolitan's extensive collections. Scholars will be able to obtain those images through institutions that have ARTstor
