Mentally Handicapped Students Take Part in a Freshman Seminar on Disabilities
"Human Ability: Unplugged," College of New Jersey
This freshman seminar is one of the few liberal-arts courses in the country where students with intellectual disabilities study alongside typical students. Six of the 22 students in this past fall's class were admitted to the college for a new four-year liberal-arts certificate program for students with cognitive impairments.
