Median Salaries of Midlevel College Administrators by Type of Institution, 2003-4

Median salaries for midlevel college and university administrators grew by 2.1 percent in the 2003-4 academic year, according to an annual survey by the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources.

The survey found that salary increases were greater at private institutions than at public ones, but all increases for midlevel managers were less than in the previous three years, according to the association.
