Math Scores Improve on SAT While ACT Scores Remain Stable
The average score on the SAT mathematics section rose by 3 points this year, to 514, the highest level in three decades, while the average verbal score held steady at 505 for the fifth consecutive year. The national average ACT score remained stable for the fourth consecutive year, at 21 of a possible 36.
