Maternity Leaves and Tenure at U. of Oregon
To the Editor:
On August 18, The Chronicle published a letter from John Moseley, the provost of the University of Oregon ("A Tenure Suit at U. of Oregon," Letters to the Editor), in response to a July 21 story about the pending settlement in a Title VII gender-discrimination lawsuit brought by me against the university. The provost's letter does a disservice to the hard work done in settlement and does not accurately reflect the years of discovery, depositions, and judicial rulings
