Massachusetts Lieutenant Governor to Teach for $25,000
Lieut. Gov. Jane M. Swift of Massachusetts will be paid $25,000 for co-teaching a course in state government this term at Boston's Suffolk University, and for teaching an educational-policy class in the spring. Her teaching salary will be two to four times what the institution typically pays instructors who lack Ph.D.'s.
