Mascot: Big Red, a fuzzy red blob with big eyes

Issue: The university has accused the Italian broadcast and publishing giant Mediaset of copying its sports mascot to create a character called Gabbibo, who appears on the company's television network and is closely associated with a satirical news show. But Mediaset is taking a swing, too; it wants to prevent Big Red from appearing on the shelves of stores in Italy.
