Maricopa Chancellor Takes Abrupt, Indefinite Leave; Psychologist Takes Post in St. Louis; Harvard Psychiatry Professor Heads West
DISAPPEARING ACT: Fred Gaskin, chancellor of the Maricopa Community Colleges -- the country's largest community-college district -- has taken an unexplained and indefinite leave of absence on the heels of his performance review.
Mr. Gaskin reportedly stormed out of an executive session with the Phoenix district's five-member Board of Trustees last month. He hasn't been back since.
