Many Types of Discrimination

Walter Benn Michaels is more correct than he realizes ("Why Identity Politics Distracts Us From Economic Inequalities," The Chronicle Review, December 15). Both extreme income inequality and rampant class discrimination are (or should be) more important than racial discrimination.
