Many Colleges Are in a Spending Spree for Information Technology
Colleges and universities in the United States are upgrading their academic hardware in a $1.2-billion spending spree this year, according to a recent report released by the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation. The institutions are expecting to spend 28 percent more than they did last year on computer hardware to support teaching and learning, the report says.
