Man of Letters
It takes a fair amount of brass to preside for nearly two decades over a university that sits smack in the heart of power-conscious Washington. So perhaps few were surprised when the departing president of George Washington University gave, as his farewell gift to professors, staff members, benefactors, and friends, copies of his audaciously titled book of correspondences, Write Me a Letter!
