Making Chemistry Papers Available on the Web

At the recent national meeting of the American Chemical Society in Washington, several speakers promoted the concept of a chemistry preprint server, to which chemists would post their research papers prior to publication ("As Experts Call for a Chemistry Preprint Server, Elsevier Unveils Its Own," September 15). ...
