Majority Ownership in Strayer University Will Shift to Investment Team
Shareholders in the company that runs Strayer University have agreed to shift a major ownership stake of the company from its former president and C.E.O., Ron K. Bailey, to a team of New York-based investors.
Company officials said the deal would give the company the capital it needs to add new campuses, expand online offerings, develop international operations, and, perhaps, acquire other companies. Strayer has 14 campuses in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia, and
