Magazines' Annual College Rankings Bring Dismay and Distinction
It's college-rankings season again, and while the State University of New York at Albany earned a top spot, the distinction probably won't end up in the campus viewbook.
Albany has been designated best "party school" in the Princeton Review's annual survey, based on interviews with 56,000 college students. Mary Fiess, an Albany spokeswoman, said the ranking "is just meant for fun and is not to be taken seriously."
