Magazine Article Makes Crimson Readers See Red
Justin Fong thought he was going to offend people, and he did. In an essay that the Harvard University sophomore wrote for the student newspaper's weekly magazine, Mr. Fong asserted that Harvard students, particularly Asian-Americans, self-segregate by ethnicity, and thus perpetuate hurtful stereotypes. He says he meant both to be funny and to make a point in "The Invasian," which ran last month in Fifteen Minutes, a publication of The Harvard Crimson.
