MIT's Suit Against Frank Gehry Astonishes Campus Architects
His detractors— and there are many— are reveling in the news that the Massachusetts Institute of Technology has filed a negligence lawsuit against the firm headed by Frank O. Gehry, the most famous American architect since Frank Lloyd Wright. But architects and others familiar with how buildings get constructed on campuses are marveling that what probably began as a routine disagreement about construction issues could not be resolved before ending up in court.
