MIT to Help Create U. in Abu Dhabi
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology has closed a deal with a state-owned company in Abu Dhabi to help develop a new technology-focused research institute. MIT officials say the state of Abu Dhabi will pay $35-million in research money for joint projects between MIT and the institute, to be called the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology.
