MIT Settles Charges of Environmental Lapses
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology agreed in April to spend $555,000 to settle charges that it violated federal environmental regulations. To come into compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency, the institution said it would spend $405,000 on three environmentally friendly projects and pay a $150,000 fine.
