MIT Pays $6-Million to Settle Lawsuit Over a Student's Death

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology has agreed to pay $6-million and to acknowledge some responsibility for the 1997 alcohol-related death of Scott Krueger, an 18-year-old fraternity pledge, to avoid a lawsuit by his family.
