Louisiana State U. Cited for Basketball Violations
The National Collegiate Athletic Association last week barred the men's basketball program at Louisiana State University from postseason play for one year, citing major rules violations. The N.C.A.A. also placed the university on probation for three years and cut the number of men's basketball scholarships it may offer over that time.
