Louisiana Court Dismisses Suit Against Creator of 'Truth at ULM' Web Site
A state appeals court in Loui-siana has thrown out a defamation lawsuit against a former faculty member at the University of Louisiana at Monroe who had operated an anonymous Web site highly critical of the university's administration. The court also ordered the former university administrator who filed the suit to pay the defendant's court costs.
The suit was filed by Richard L. Baxter, the university's former vice president of external affairs, who was one of the officials criticized
