Louisiana Auditors Find Irregularities at 2 State Universities
Grambling State University and the University of Louisiana at Monroe are in hot water because state auditors have found their financial statements to be too inaccurate and incomplete to audit.
Because of the findings by Louisiana's legislative auditor, state higher-education officials ordered the presidents of both institutions to explain themselves at a meeting this month. And the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools decided to withdraw its decision,
