Long Island U. Settles With EPA Over Hazardous Waste
Long Island University will pay $112,301 in fines and teach local high-school officials how to comply with federal environmental regulations as part of an agreement with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency over hazardous-waste violations on two campuses.
